VDL UMID^® Fogging system

Our unique patented UMID nozzles© make all the difference!

As an official partner of VDL Industrial Products, we use unique, patented UMID nozzles to atomise water or other liquids with the same viscosity. Compared to other systems, only a minimal pressure of approx. 30-45 bar is required for the finest, homogeneous atomisation (fogging) of the liquids.

Based on the tornado principle, a water column is generated inside the nozzle at an extremely high rotational speed. The kinetic energy at the nozzle outlet creates the finest, most homogeneous atomisation (fogging) at the lowest possible pressure.

The high-quality materials and precise technology guarantee long and largely maintenance-free operation. In contrast to conventional nozzles, the unique design of the UMID nozzle prevents clogging of the spray channel. With the UMID fogging system, VDL guarantees a long service life with minimal maintenance costs.

The uniform fineness of the droplets determines the quality of the water fog.

The consistent fineness of the microscopic droplets determines the quality of the fog. VDL UMID fogging systems are therefore suitable for the most demanding applications in cooling, air conditioning and disinfection.
