Huwa-San is a hydrogen peroxide-based disinfectant.
Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) is a transparent, colourless and odourless disinfectant liquid that can be mixed with water in any ratio. After reaction, it decomposes into water (H2O) and oxygen (O2).
The main difference between Huwa-San and normal hydrogen peroxide is the presence of a stabilising agent. Since H2O2 is unstable and slowly decomposes into oxygen and water, a stabiliser in the form of a small amount of silver is added. The silver is used to increase the stability of the hydrogen peroxide solution.
The process of combining hydrogen peroxide with the silver stabiliser is unique worldwide and is based on the original Huwa-San technology, which has been further developed at Roam Technology over the last 15 years.
This technology is unique because no additional stabilisers, such as acids, are required to stabilise the peroxide. All this makes ROAM Technology products residue-free and extremely effective disinfectants.
Huwa-San is a single-source biocidal product that is effective against bacteria, fungi, yeasts, spores, viruses and even mycobacteria, and can therefore be used in many applications to disinfect water, surfaces, tools and even large empty areas through evaporation.
Over the past 15 years, Huwa-San products have been extensively tested on a laboratory scale and in many field trials around the world. The wealth of information within Huwa-San's broad range of applications, combined with the technical knowledge of Roam employees, has been the key to our global success.
