Combination of cooling and suffocating effects
Our NEOFOGG® systems completely replace conventional water extinguishing systems. Not only that, but the use of our NEOFOGG® fire suppression systems is characterised by a significantly lower water consumption.
The special NEOFOGG® nozzles generate micro-fine water droplets that spread as a gaseous, suspended aerosol. The radiant heat and oxygen are thus absorbed directly at the flame. The thermal energy generated by a fire causes
the fire to supply itself with the aerosol. When the water particles hit the source of the fire, they evaporate, absorbing energy and expanding to approximately 1,600 times their volume. This causes local oxygen displacement at the source of the fire. In addition, the fire is cooled by lowering the ambient temperature.
The combination of these effects enables safe and efficient firefighting.
